My favorite part of the SCA is researching, organizing, and executing events – especially feasts. In the mundane world, I was a professional Chef for 20 years, working at every level from quick service to luxury catering. I have also been an educator, and my current role is as a professional trainer (of people.) Leveraging the combination of scholarship, research and development, project management, and leadership to create events for others brings me tremendous joy. I am now at a place where I also want to begin sharing my insight and experience with others to develop the next leaders in this space.
